We level as phys because maple bow only starts dex-scaling on the sacred tier. It's therefore more SSF-friendly to just go fire. Physical bow druid require a lot of xis-runewords and many excellent jewels (which are both lategame stuff) in order to be able to compete with a basic Maple bow. Physical bow bad, fire maple bow good (efr>ds+ewd). The buff duration goes up by 0.2s per bear base skill level, expect a 10s buff in the lategame. If there is an obstacle between you and the bear, you will not get the buff (it needs direct line-of-sight). The buff is a shout/pulse that reaches about half a screen (stay close to bear). Bear buff (Heart of the Pack) has a 7% chance to be cast whenever the bear attacks. His base resists are at -15%, so you need 75% minion resists to bring that up to 60. Unlike other summons, the bear caps its elemental resists at 60% (other summons cap at 50%).Wdm = Weapon Damage Modifier (it usually means “scales with your weapon”, like a wdm proc or a wdm skill) SSU = rarer Sacred Unique (10-20% chance in lvl 120 zones) SSF = Solo Self-Found (means you cannot receive outside help and can only use items your character finds) Req = Requirement (can also mean -% requirements, meaning the item requires less str to equip) Proc = stands for “Programmed Random OCcurrence”, it’s an action that can happen when you hit or kill enemies. 10ied added to a 48% base turns into 52.8%) Ied = Innate Elemental Damage (it increases the scaling of elemental weapons. Ias = Increased Attack Speed (called Attack Speed in-game) Mega damage + mega defense = winning.BiS = Best-in-Slot (as in, no other item can perform better for that item type)ĭs = Deadly Strike (% chance to double your dmg)Įfr = -% Enemy Fire Resist (also called pierce)Įwd = Enhanced Weapon Damage (is a dmg multiplier of your weapon and min/max from armors/charms)įpa = Frame Per Animation (dictates how fast an animation is, the lower it is the faster/better it is) I found it hilariously easy to do anything that didn't involve fire immunes. I had a ton of success using a Fire Cannonade barb. This past ladder was fun with the build combos. I had alot of fun using a Xbow necro a couple ladders ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed using a RoL/Lazydin. For farming purposes I always start with a Traprat or a Lolnado sorc. Perhaps this thread will inspire people to try out new characters and open up ideas to new potential builds and playstyles. Lemme know what your top two builds were (and if they're funky, give a brief description of what skill(s)/items made it work and made it so fun to play. What were your top two characters/builds of Median XL: Ultimative?Ĭriteria: In terms of how much fun the character was, how successful it was without a ton of respecs, perhaps you have a very unique build that required rare gear. Out of curiosity, I want to hear everyone's opinions here on the following question and criteria:
